Michael Lohan’s Love Child Ashley Horn Confirms He’s Her Father Just So She Can Reject Him On Live TV

Michael Lohan love child Ashley Horn paternity test reality TV Maury Lindsay Lohan half-sisterI kind of really like Ashley Horn. The 17-year-old has claimed for the past four years that Michael Lohan is her father, that he had an affair with her mother while he was married to Dina Lohan. Back when Lindsay got out of rehab in 2010, Ashley tried to reach out to her half-sister but had no way of communicating with the Lohans.

Since 2008, Michael has been unwilling to appear in court but claimed he'd “be glad to take a DNA test” to set the record straight. No surprise, then, that Michael, Ashley, and her mother Kristi appeared on The Trisha Goddard Show to pull a Maury. In fact, Maury Povich was on hand to counsel Michael after they learned that — say it with me now — “you are the father”!

The episode airs today, but this preview lays out all of Ashley's resentment. In the past few years we've heard of Kristi accusing Michael of owing $300,000 in child support, but here it's clear that Ashley is the wounded party. She claims that she doesn't want to be part of the family, but wants to know for sure because of how Michael has gone out of his way to ignore and discredit her.

“What gives you the right to tell me that the kids have a right to disown me,” she tearfully says. “What made you say that to me? How can you keep lying?” Part of her anger stems from him not being in touch for nearly a decade: “Being there and then disappearing. You talked to me when I was seven-years-old. Why would you even tell me to call you Daddy?”

And here's the moment of truth:

Once the truth is out, Kristi starts crying, Ashley is stoic, and Michael… looks happy? Maybe he's finally let himself accept that he has a daughter who's not a felon or suffering from dangerous body image issues. But when he goes to hug Ashley, she immediately snaps, “No! No! No!” even as Michael pleads, “I just want to hug you.”

Earlier in the episode Ashley said, “I don't want to be part of the Lohan trainwreck.” Though I have to ask why she agreed to go on a trashy talk show, I at least respect her for so clearly rejecting Michael at his most vulnerable. He's done that to the rest of his family for enough years that he deserves the same treatment. And anyway, his ex Kate Major still has a bun in the oven, so he'll get at least one more chance to be a father.
