Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes In A Cone Bra: Adorable Or Inappropriate?
The internet is abuzz today with news that Madonna's 15-year-old daughter Lourdes Ciccone Leon, currently best known for sulking around in a most teenful fashion, has posed for a twitpic in a deconstructed cone-bra-like ensemble designed for her mother by Jean Paul Gaultier. Posted via the official twitter account for the Material Girl clothing line, the photo was salaciously captioned “Lola backstage at MDNA!” and showed her looking…well, like a bratty 15-year-old girl fucking around in her mom's dressing room. (Granted, most moms don't leave couture like that lying around.)
There's been no shortage of shock surrounding this photo, and sure, maybe moments like these should not be part of a company's official twitter account. But I'm finding it hard to get too worked up about it, myself. It's been 12 years since I was 15, but I still remember goofing around with my friends, putting balloons in our shirts, taking pictures, etc. Granted, the presence of the internet makes it a bit more complicated these days, but I still don't think it's cause for alarm. If anything, I'm concerned with how cavalierly Lourdes appears to be handling that bustier, because custom Jean Paul Gaultier is not a fucking toy.
What do you think?
