Lindsay Lohan is still the artistic adviser at fashion house Emanuel Ungaro despite rumors, president and chief executive Mounir Moufarrige said Tuesday, according to Reuters.

“Yes (she's staying on), she has a job to do,” Mofarrige said on the sidelines of the Milan Fashion Global Fashion Summit.

The new Ungaro line which debuted in Paris in October from chief designer Estrella Archs with artistic advice from Lindsay received lots of negative press from fashion critics who in general didn't like the collection.

“The criticism was harsh. I am sure we can do better in the collection to be honest but I think it was harsh … But it did sell well,” Moufarrige said.

Moufarrige added that future Ungaro collections needed to be “more tight, more identity driven.”

Britain's Harvey Nichols and Harrods as well as New York's Bloomingdales and Japanese stores were among those who had shown interest in the collection, Moufarrige said.

Meanwhile, retired founder Emanuel Ungaro, who stepped down a few years ago, recently was quoted by the media saying the collection was a “disaster.”

“Mr Ungaro has his views, he can keep them. I have no comment,” Moufarrige said about Ungaro's opinions.
