Here’s Proof That Lindsay Lohan Was Lying About Handling Whitney Houston’s Remains

Lindsay Lohan blond hair GIFEveryone close your eyes for a second and bring to mind your favorite thing about Lindsay Lohan. Is it that she's a compulsive liar who tells tall tales for absolutely no reason? Because if so, I'm about to make your day.

As you may recall, yesterday our old gal LiLo dropped the knowledge bomb on us that she had handled the body bag containing Whitney Houston‘s corpse after her death in 2012. And not even as a result of someone directly asking her the question, “Hey Linds, just wondering — have you ever handled a body bag? Specifically one with a died-too-young diva in it?”

That's really the only situation in which it would be in any way necessary to volunteer that knowledge, but instead Lindsay just snuck it into a longer paragraph about how much she hated working at the morgue as a condition of her probation on a shoplifting charge.

“[It was] effed up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: ‘No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can.’ It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston.”

Oh yeah sorry, did I forget to mention? Lindsay did in fact work at the LA County Morgue from October 2011 to March 2012, which works for the timing for her to have been there when Whitney was brought in in February 2012. Which is why it's even more insane and effed up that SHE INVENTED THE WHOLE THING.

Yup. As if it wasn't weird enough to brag about touching a dead celebrity two-and-a-half years after the fact, it turns out that the interaction never even took place. An official from the Los Angeles Coroner's Office talked to TMZ, and not only did no one in Lindsay's probation program have anything to do with Whitney Houston's remains, but they were never even in a body bag.

According to this official, Whitney's body was at the location so briefly that it was never transferred to a bag, instead remaining wrapped in plastic and kept under a sheet during the autopsy and transport to and from the morgue. So…that's odd, right? What an incredibly avoidable lie to tell! It always makes me nervous when people are dishonest for no reason, because it makes me start to wonder what else they've made up.

Like, does this mean you didn't actually have sex with everyone on that list? I'll be really disappointed if I have to concede to James Franco that he was telling the truth all this time.
