Lindsay Lohan Missed Her First Day Of Community Service Lied About Where She Was Lindsay Lohan smiling gif

There’s nothing like Lindsay Lohan evading her responsibilities to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Everyone and their mother already predicted that Lindsay would never finish her 100+ hours of community service at Duffield Children’s Center in Brooklyn in time for the May 28 deadline, and that’s looking more and more to be the case, as Lindsay missed her first day yesterday. After all, it’s kind of hard to start servicing the community when you’re not even in the country.

According to the New York Daily News, Lindsay didn’t even land in New York until Tuesday afternoon, which would mean she was still in London on Monday. Why is that a big deal, besides the fact that she missed her first day of work? Well, because on Monday she posted an Instagram photo and captioned it that she was happy to be back in New York and “ready to help.” Clearly that was an outright lie. When will famous people learn?

Ivonne Lopez, the director of early childhood programs at Duffield, claimed that the delay was because Lindsay “needs to be cleared,” so good to know they’re willing to make excuses for her irresponsible behavior.

To catch you up on this ordeal, Lindsay is supposed to be completing these hours for a 2012 reckless driving charge. She originally tried to count bogus work like fan meet and greets towards her hours, but a judge declared that to be bullshit. Lindsay has reportedly only completed 9 1/2 legitimate hours, which means she’s going to have to work some pretty long days if she wants to avoid jail. But of course we’re talking about Lindsay Lohan, who manages to never face the consequences of her actions no matter how many times she gets in trouble, so I predict she’ll somehow get away with this and move on to whatever stupid decision is next on her to-do list.

It’s the circle of LiLo, and it moves us all. It specifically moves our eyeballs. To roll.
