Lindsay Lohan Got Assaulted After Bringing A Stranger Back To Her NYC Hotel

By  |

In actual serious news, Lindsay Lohan allegedly got assaulted in her New York City hotel last night after bringing a stranger home with her. Even though she's  currently competing with Amanda Bynes for who gets to be the poster child for banning child acting,  this current event brings it to a completely different playing field.

Because this time Lindsay Lohan isn't at fault.

NBC reports the following:

According to law enforcement officials, Lohan told police she got into an argument with a 25-year-old man she brought to her room after meeting him 1 Oak in Chelsea.

The argument was allegedly over photos the man took of Lohan on his cell phone while they were in her 15th floor room at the W Hotel near Union Square with some of Lohan's friends.

Police have identified the man as Christian LaBella, of California.

Yes, she allegedly brought a stranger home with her from a club, but that's standard behavior for a 26-year-old out in New York City.  Sorry moms and Taylor Swifts of the world, that's the truth. This sometimes happens and if we want LiLo to act like a normal 26-year-old, we can't get upset when she actually does it.

Whatever the situation or the invitation, she shouldn't expect to get assaulted simply because she's a celebrity.  She's lucky that her friend was there to help stop it.

Lohan ran out of the room and down the stairs of the hotel, but at some point decided to head back upstairs to her room.  When LaBella saw her again, Lohan told police he attacked her, choking her, throwing her to the ground, and climbing on top of her.

A friend Lohan's who was with her at the time was able to pull LaBella off her, and Lohan then pulled the fire alarm for help.

The good news is that she's completely fine. She didn't even go to the hospital and according to TMZ she's fully cooperating with police.

Let's just hope Dina Lohan uses this as an opportunity to be a supportive mother and not a mouthpiece on TV this week for the perils of being LiLo in NYC.
