Nina Dobrev And Liam Hemsworth Are Your Newest ‘Really? Them?’ Celebrity Couple

Nina Dobrev and Liam Hemsworth spotted at bar together February 2014

It's been approximately five minutes since a super weird celebrity couple has come out of the woodwork (looking at you, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn), so say hello to your newest contenders — Nina Dobrev and Liam Hemsworth.

Gasp and make breaking glass sounds all you want, but this couple actually makes some sense to me. (Especially considering I predicted it three months ago. Nina is #7 on this list.) I have no idea how they met, but their relationship backgrounds are surprisingly similar. Nina dated her Vampire Diaries costar Ian Somerhalder from 2010 to 2013, and Liam dated his The Last Song costar Miley Cyrus (heard of her?) from 2009 to 2013. And after that, they both had whirlwind little love affairs with no-names. Remember Liam had that thing with Eiza Gonzalez where they were in love after like two days? And Nina had a blissful six week fakelationship with the definitely-not-at-all-gay Derek Hough.

So with all that in common, they probably had a lot to talk about when they were spotted out on an alleged date at a bar in Atlanta by an eyewitness named Jahti Anderson, who told Celebuzz:

“They stayed around two to three hours and Nina left before Liam, and as she was leaving they gave each other a good night kiss… [and] she ran off into a car service with her friend.”

“The kisses were on the lips publicly outside of the bar… and it was three sensual kisses on the lips.”

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Sensual kisses publicly on the lips? That's such obvious date behavior!

“They stuck together pretty much the whole time, but I think Nina got sick of pics [from fans] because Liam was the highlight so to speak. They were there together and were with a couple other friends. They were having a great time.”

But Jahti, oh no! Now they sound like just friends again! How can we clear this up?

“They were definitely acting couple-y. They were drinking beers and mostly standing and talking near the bar.”

Near the bar? Drinking beers? Standing and talking? Well that settles it. These two are definitely a couple, and I don't want to hear another word about it.
