Ever since Kim Kardashian revealed that she’s pregnant with her second child, every single person on the Internet has suggested she name the kid South West. And every single person has thought they’re the most creative individual to ever exist. It’s already been reported that Kim and Kanye don’t want to use another direction-based name this time around, but now we actually get to hear a response to the name from Kim’s own mouth, and it’s a doozy.

Kim did an interview with NPR over the weekend where she commented on the name speculation and declared that she won’t be naming her second baby South:

“I don’t like South West, though, because that’s like, you know, North will always, you know, be better and be more…she has a better direction… So I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction.”

When you’re considering which of your two children will have the “better direction” in their name, it might be time to take a step back and take a good, hard look at your choices.

But Kim wasn’t done there. She went on to make this gem of a statement:

“I mean, everyone keeps on saying South and I think it’s so stupid. Stupidest thing ever and just ridiculous.”

Yes, that’s right. Naming your first kid North is totally normal and reasonable and not stupid at all, but naming your second kid South? What a stupid idea. What idiot would even consider that?

I should remind you at this point that Kim also laughed at the name North before her daughter was born. When Jay Leno suggested it to her, she said, “That is not one of the names on the list.” So in other words, Kim Kardashian is a liar liar pants on fire, and I refuse to leave South off the list of potential names.

I also refuse to believe that Kim isn’t having a boy. Even though she says she hasn’t told anyone the sex yet, here’s what she said to NPR about all the rumors surrounding this pregnancy:

“So I heard that we’re having a boy. I heard that we’re having twins. I heard that I’m not even carrying my own baby. I’ve heard so many things and most of that information is not true.”

Most of that is not true. Meaning some of it is. Meaning if she’s not carrying twins or using a surrogate, by process of elimination she’s having a boy. Sure, there’s already a 50/50 chance of that, but I like feeling like a detective.
