Kim Kardashian Says She Can Balance Motherhood And Career, Forgets To Add Air Quotes To Both Words

Kim Kardashian I have no idea what I'm doing GIF

Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe went on CNBC's Closing Bell the other day, because I guess they stumbled in their on their way to Starbucks and someone just hooked them up to mics and started to interview them. While there, they were asked to comment on the classic issue of whether women can have it all and balance work and motherhood. It's ridiculous that this was asked of them, since for one it's an extremely annoying question that's almost never asked of men, and for two, this whole charade about the Kardashians having careers got old like five years ago.

Nevertheless, Kim responded, and she's got it all figured out:

“I think that's not really like a positive outlook, and for me like my mom kind of taught us girls we could have it all. She worked hard. She taught us if you work hard, it's just all about prioritizing and I think that, yeah, it could get tough and after you have a baby, there are so many times I didn't want to get up and work on something and I wanted to be home with my baby, but, you know, for me, I think I can speak for my sisters, it makes us feel good when we are out working and we can provide something for our friends and products that, you know, we can't find that we really want.”

Sorry, she lost me at the part where she said Kris Jenner worked hard, so I didn't exactly catch the rest of what she said there, but I'm assuming it involved her explaining, “I'm really rich, and I don't really do that much work in the first place, and I can also pay people to look after my child when I have important things to do like going to dinner in a low-cut blouse or having a camera film me using my sister's breast milk on my skin condition, so having it all isn't something I've ever had to worry about. Also stop asking women this question, please.” Is that not what she said, verbatim? It's not? Sigh. Yeah, I figured.
