Kim Kardashian Got An Extreme Makeunder To Experience Life As A Lowly Normal

Kim Kardashian getting a crazy makeunder is proof that you can never truly be prepared for life's curveballs. Here I was, just eating lunch on this here Wednesday afternoon, not even ready for the news that Kim had de-Kardashianized herself. I hadn't even planned to feel such a mixture of confusion and obsession this early in the week, but HERE I AM.
Oxygen has a new show called Celebrities Undercover, which, it turns out, is not some sort of spinoff of Law & Order. Instead, on the show, a team of makeup artists uglify the celebrities that we know, love, and/or tolerate. And in the first episode, the disguised famous face in question belongs to none other than Kim Kardashian. Apparently, she did it to see if she could fool her die-hard fans, which must have been very easy considering exactly zero die-hard Kardashian fans exist. But, please, don't allow that to make you underestimate how amazing a makeunder of a perpetually made-up person can be. It's like seeing a unicorn having to dress up as a horse and wear a permed wig.
Part of me wants to believe that this is the real Kim. But part of me knows that this was just her brief foray into normalhood and she'll be back to squeezing into teenage bikinis in no time. But you'd better believe I'm going to be obsessed with this entire thing while it lasts because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I actually can't figure out why it even happened this time, but I'm happy about it anyway. And before I forget, yes, it would be absolutely right to assume that this is an accurate depiction of how celebs see us mere mortals.
This event will go down in history books as one of the greatest things to exist ever, right next to the Anderson-Cooper-Seth-Meyers bromance and the adorable human that is Shailene Woodley. I just can't wait to tell my grandkids about the day that a Kardashian madame stepped into the $40 shoes of a normal. What a time to be alive.
