Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Finally Moved Out of Mom’s House, Those Freeloaders

As you know if you keep up with the Kardashians on a regular basis, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been living in Kris Jenner's Calabasas home on and off since before their daughter North West was born in 2013. It certainly wasn't because they couldn't afford their own place, and it also certainly wasn't because Kris Jenner is just soooo fun to live with. It's because their damn mansions have taken so long to renovate.

Yes, that's right. I said mansions, plural. According to People‘s very helpful recap, the saga goes like this. In early 2013, Kimye bought an $11 million house in Bel Air. The renovations they chose to do to it included “a gym, movie theater, hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court and indoor and outdoor pools.” But in 2014, they decided to buy another home, a 3.5 acre estate in Hidden Hills for $20 million.

Why did they make such a change, you ask? Because a Bel Air mansion is just not suited to having one baby. Here's what Kim told People at the time:

“When we bought our Bel-Air house, we didn't have a baby, we weren't even pregnant. After you have a baby, you realize that you need so many other things and a different kind of space. So being in the city is a different life. We wanted to be away and have more privacy.”

The Hidden Hills house (which has its own vineyard, by the way) also required renovations, so last year Kimye moved back in with Kris.

A couple of weeks ago they finally moved into the Bel Air home, although whether that's a permanent choice or if they're just slumming it in an $11 million house while their suitable one is worked on isn't clear. But really, this brunch table is way too small, wouldn't you agree? How can they be expected to raise two children in such a place?

Kylie shared that photo on Snapchat Easter Sunday, along with some other videos and pics. Then today, Kanye shared this photo on Twitter:

No, that's not the lobby of some fancy office building. It's Kimye's house. How… cozy?
