The Kardashians Are Talking About Kylie Jenner’s Lips Now, Too — Out Of FOMO, I Suspect

In news that literally shocked nobody, Kylie Jenner admitted last week that her plump lips were the result of temporary lip fillers. Why she didn't do that before the world at large attempted to take the #KylieJennerLipChallenge and almost permanently mutilate their faces via shot glasses is beyond me, but hey, when you've got yourself at $2.7 million house at the age of seventeen and you spend your free time taking Instagram pics while at driving down the freeway, I guess you can kinda just do you all day.

Anyway, we've thoroughly enjoyed talking about Kylie's lips over the past few weeks, and now it looks like the rest of the Kardashian Klan has been suffering from a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out, for all ya noobs out there), because now they're weighing in on the matter. During last night's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashiansjust after Kylie made the relatively mature decision to not tell reporters (but tell the camera crew) that she got lip injections for fear of getting “picked apart” by the media, some of her sisters gave us their two cents. Khloe Kardashian said,

“Kylie decided to plump her lips and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.”

Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian agreed, both stressing that they were supportive of Kylie's decision and that they think she's beautiful no matter what. Both cited Kylie's insecurities, and with the lips on the older Kardashian girls, I can't say I really blame her.

In short, we're all going to have our opinions on Kylie's decision to get a relatively mild form of plastic surgery at such a young age. However, I have to believe that it's not a decision that she or her family took lightly. Plastic surgery of any kind is a hugely life-altering decision, no matter how big or small the procedure may be. If she was that insecure about her lips that it was actually detrimental to her life, then she made the right decision in getting a little bit of temporary filler, and given our proclivity to judge the Kardashians for just about everything, I'm not surprised that she kept the truth to herself for so long. Basically, as long as Kylie's happy, we should be happy.

And also, we should stop strapping shot glasses to our faces. Just a thought.
