Kanye West Apologizes for His ‘Confusing’ Tweets, Then Proceeds to Post Several More

2014 LACMA Gala

Yesterday Kanye West posted some tweets. That's not exactly news these days, but this time was slightly different, since he took the opportunity to apologize for what he calls the “confusing” tweets he's sent recently (in other words, all of them). You might be relieved to hear that Kanye is finally displaying some self-awareness. Except no, that's not what this is at all. It's more of a #SorryNotSorry. In fact, it's pretty similar to Gretchen Wieners' speech about being popular. Let's take a look, shall we?

Okay, Kanye, I'm glad you realized…

Aaaand there it is.

Of course, on either side of that sort-of-but-not-really acknowledgement of his confusing tweets, he sent several more confusing tweets, like these, in which he compares himself to a soldier returning from war. Except instead of war, he's designing sneakers. You know, same thing.

Then he went all Charlie Sheen on us and started talking about #winning.

Before all of this, he gave everyone a disclaimer comparing his Twitter to stream of consciousness poetry and/or a mood board.

Someone should really tell him about Pinterest if mood boards interest him. But okay, Kanye. You do you.
