Justin Bieber Admits He’s ‘Not In The Happiest Place’ Following His Breakup With Selena Gomez

justin bieber 291112Aha! Proof that Justin Bieber thinks! And feels! And is not the emotionless boy-robot that I initially feared! In a recent interview with People Magazine, J-Biebs admitted that he's not doing super great in the wake of his break-up from¬†Selena Gomez. Well yeah, I mean…duh. He's eighteen years old, in the public eye, and Jelena was together for almost two years. That's gonna leave a mark.

“I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been. I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going.”

Mergle. As snarky as I can be sometimes, I do feel for the kid. He's got a lot going on, especially with the pot rumors and the whole throwing a waterbottle at a reporter thing. Luckily I was not constantly on camera at age eighteen, otherwise the world would be a lot more knowledgeable about fits of depression and Ben and Jerry's binges. But at least Justin has the friendly bloggers to make things easier for him, right? RIGHT?!?

“There's so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories. I don't go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely.”

Do you mean to tell me that I slave all day writing these posts about someone I've never met and he can't even take five hours out of his day to read all of them?! Come on, Justin! What the eff.

“I'm 18. I have a great team around me. I have great friends. We have a blast. They keep me occupied and keep my mind off negative things. It's funny when people are like ‘You're 18. What have you really gone through?' I'm thinking, ‘What do you mean? When you were 18, you don't think you went through that stuff?' When you are 18, you're going through that transition. You have a high school girlfriend, you might not. Going to college. Figuring yourself out, leaving home.”

Well boo. It's not fun to snark at you when you actually state an eloquent case, Justin. But in case you readers at home have any teen angst you need to burn off, feel free to listen to Justin's song Nothing Like Us from Believe Acoustic, a song which he's admitted is written about his break-up with Selena. I've included the link below and I highly recommend a nice quiet cry in your cubicle while life passes you by.

See now wasn't that nice? Thank you Justin for these freeing tears. I feel eighteen again, so I think I better go take four shots of Georgi vodka and drunk-dial my ex-boyfriend(s).
