Yeah, Jennifer Lopez Thinks Ben Affleck’s Phoenix Tattoo Is “Awful” Too
So last year after his split from wife Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck decided to seal the whole “having a midlife crisis” deal by getting a large phoenix tattoo on his back. And while the symbolism of a phoenix rising from the ashes is a nice thought, the tattoo is still pretty damn bad.
Last week we got Jennifer Garner’s opinion on the tattoo when she told Vanity Fair, “You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart.’ A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario? I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”
Now another ex of Ben’s and the reason Bennifer made its way into our nation’s vocabulary in the mid-2000s, Jennifer Lopez is sharing what she thinks. While playing a round of Plead the Fifth on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the host asked Jennifer her “honest opinion” on the new tat. And while Jennifer Garner gave a little more thought to her response, this Jennifer is just straight up telling it like it is. She said, “It’s awful! And I would tell him that. What are you doing? It has too many colors. His tattoos always have too many colors.” As Andy wholeheartedly agreed, she added, “They shouldn’t be so colorful, you know what I mean? They should be, like, cooler.” So now that both Jennifers have spoken on the matter, if any other ex-girlfriends (looking at you, Gwyneth Paltrow) what to chime in, now’s the time.
