Jennifer Lawrence Just Wishes She Wasn’t So Goddamn Famous All The Time

Jennifer Lawrence attending Catching Fire New York premiere November 2013Jennifer Lawrence is starting to get the beginnings of some backlash for being so goddamn famous all the time, but according to her, that's the furthest thing from her mind. While you're all sitting at home obsessively ranking her outfit choices for the Catching Fire red carpets, equipping your Tumblr with the perfect J-Law GIFs, and putting the final touches on your Hunger Games fanfic, Jenn pretty much just wants to be a normal human being instead of a celebrity. Aka YOU'RE WRECKING IT.

After doing, what? Like five huge movies in a little over two years, she's a little tired of being your go-to adorable celebrity, and she wants to be able to quirkily order that Budweiser she's craving in a dive bar without everyone immediately commenting on how cute and quirky it is that she drinks Budweisers and goes to dive bars. As she told USA Today:

“I've built my career. I need to build my human life. I need to get a house and connect to the people around me and not work for a little while. I just get allergic to that kind of thing. People treating you differently when you don't feel any differently is really alienating. You can see, the way they look at you. I can see if that was who I surrounded myself with, that's why you change. I find people who don't change. That's where I get my reality.”

You guys, we've all changed. Jenn asked us not to, but we did it anyway. And now we can all go to a casual drunk brunch in the middle of the day ever again because one of us has a stupid old Oscar and will probably get another one in 2014 for American Hustle. LOOK WHAT YOU DID.
