Jennifer Aniston Talks About Her Divorce From Brad Pitt, Which Is All We Ever Want

By  |

Jennifer Aniston making face GIFI consider myself to be a pretty smart, self-aware human being walking around the face of the earth, but I gotta admit — I still do have a real bad case of curiosity about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt‘s divorce. I'm not infatuated with it to the extent that I've branded myself Team Jen or Team Angelina Jolie, but you better believe that anytime one of the members of that love triangle speak about it publicly, I'ma be clicking that link.

And I know, you guys! I know that makes me part of the problem! How could I not be, when I'm still hung up on a split that took place a full decade ago, that both parties have actively and openly moved on from? I can't explain it, and yet here I find myself, eagerly scrolling down to see what Jennifer had to say about her divorce in an interview on CBS Sunday Morning that aired yesterday.

“I don’t find it painful. I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”

Um yeah, sure is. I've fully embraced the fact that at this point I probably care more about the details their failed marriage than they do, if only because they've largely been denied to me, but what can we do?? (I say ‘we' because we're all in this boat together, don't even lie.) Jennifer was also asked if she's in contact with Brad, and she had this to say:

“We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but it’s not a constant thing.”

Honestly what is wrong with me? This should be serving as a wakeup call that nothing that scandalous — or even interesting — goes on in their relationship, but now that I know they talk at all, all I want is transcripts. I'M A MONSTERRRRRRR.
