Jena Malone Balances Things On Her Head, Gets Us Pumped For Her Role As Johanna Mason In Catching Fire

I have to admit, I was worried about getting a little Jennifer Lawrence-d out and Catching Fire still won't be released about another week.  I know it's probably not possible to O.D. on J-Law, but nevertheless I'm relieved that Jena Malone made an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night.  Don't get me wrong, I could listen to J-Law talk about body image, the hyper-sexualization of young girls, and her love of food all the live long day.  It's just that the entire Hunger Games series has such great supporting characters – it's not fair that we usually only get to hear form Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, much as I adore them in all their adorable glory.

Jena showcased her talent for playing her own version of Jenga on top of her head (as one does when they're a guest of Jimmy Fallon's), and also sat down to chat about her love for Hunger Games fans.  Side note: am I the only one who still thinks of Jena as the adorably bitchy tween in Stepmom? I mean I know I've watched her in Cold MountainSaved!, and Pride and Prejudice, but this whole chic, adult Jena is kind of blowing me away here.  Mostly because it makes me feel old.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to seeing Johanna Mason whip out her ax and take on Katniss in Catching Fire.  In the meantime, I'll be waiting for Stanley Tucci and Elizabeth Banks to make their respective Late Show  appearances, please and thanks.
