Jared Leto Throws Major Shade At Jennifer Lawrence By Saying She’s Putting On An Act

Jared Leto holding his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor March 2014It's been a lonely time and a bumpy road on this ‘being a little timed out on Jennifer Lawrence‘ bandwagon, so it gives me great pleasure to welcome someone else to my ranks. And especially great pleasure that it happens to be Oscar winner Jared Leto — it just makes the wagon that much more legit when there's an Academy Award on it.

Remember how Jennifer was talking to someone from the stage this past weekend as she walked to the microphone to present the Best Actor Oscar? Well as we informed you, that person was Jared Leto, and he was laughing at Ellen DeGeneres, who was poking fun at J-Law by making falling down motions as she crossed the stage. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Jared clarified:

“She said, ‘What are you laughing at?’ But what she didn’t know was that Ellen was on the side…making, pantomiming [motions like], ‘Don’t fall, don’t fall,’ and my mom and my brother are all cracking up. I guess we don’t have any manners. You can take them out of Louisiana but you can’t take Louisiana out of them, right?”

Sounds pretty good-natured so far, but when Billy Bush asked for his thoughts on the fact that this was the second Oscars in a row at which Jennifer took a tumble, he responded:

“You know, I’m starting to wonder if this is a bit of an act.”

Heyoooo! Those are dangerous words, my friend! That's a fan base right there who really doesn't like it when anyone backpedals on their idol, and wondering if her charming, quirky, clumsy girl thing is all just an act is exactly that.

I don't know, guys! I hate to say I told you so (no I don't!) but I totally told you so! I said that if we kept acting like Jennifer Lawrence was the only person on god's green earth, then sooner or later she was gonna start acting like it! Welcome aboard the bandwagon, Jared! I hope you're ready for some serious backlash.
