We were so sad to see Megan Joy and her unique voice go this week! If nothing else, Megan certainly added some interest and spice to the usual American Idol line-up. Curious to see what she'll be doing next and where she is now, or just plain confused about the bird stuff? We chatted with Megan about it all!

In the beginning, you were surprised that you made the finals. Did you ever think you could win this?
I have always kept the mentality of whatever is supposed to happen will happen. I didn't put any expectations on myself. I wanted to make the tour. That was my only goal, but I was just excited and wanted to enjoy the ride: whatever happened, happened -- no expectations.
