You might recognize singer/songwriter Pete Francis's name from way back when when he was in the band Dispatch ("The General," "Flying Horses"). But eight years and five solo albums later, Pete has just released his next project, The Movie We Are In. We chatted with Pete about how growing up with older siblings introduced him to "cool" music. What's the inspiration behind your new album?
I wanted to take a different approach on the record in the sense of using some electronic elements, keyboards and drum programming -- things that I hadn't used before musically.
