Feeling left out in school is no picnic, especially if it leads to depression and thoughts of suicide. In To Save a Life, Randy Wayne plays Jake Taylor, the super hot captain of his high school's basketball team. Everything is going great for him, but his former best friend Roger is not so lucky. In sixth grade, Roger pushed Jake out of the way of an oncoming car and was left with a permanent limp. His schoolmates never accepted him and at 17, Roger decides to take his own life. Jake decides not to let anyone else make the same mistake and reaches out to help other alienated teens. We chatted with Randy about the film's message and if he was cool in high school.

Have you ever been bullied in school?
I've never been bullied and I would love to say I never bullied anyone else. I feel like I'm always a good guy.
