Did you read the book before you signed on for the movie?
Yeah, I was a big fan of the book when I was a kid. I loved it, so when they asked me to be a part of it, it was a big thrill for me. And it's funny too because there are a lot of people out there that love the book. So I get people coming up to me and being like, "I love that book! That was my favorite book." Like there's some kind of club of people that love that book.
