9. Joshua Sasse

If you are sick to death over the familiar gallant hero that goes on a quest to save a fair maiden, then you are in the right place. Galavant’s musical journey is done with tongue firmly in cheek, and it’s led by the charming and handsome mostly unknown Joshua Sasse.

I’m just going to assume that his last name is pronounced “Sassy” because that is totally what Galavant makes me think of him. You probably aren’t too familiar with his work in the Canadian show Rogue with Thandie Newton, but I have a feeling that you’ll want to catch up with all his past work after seeing him in Galavant. Oh yeah, and did we mention that Alan Menken is writing original music for this show? He’s behind the classics from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast, so musicals geeks and regular people alike should be flipping out over this.

If you want to ahead of the curve on liking this heroic funny Brit, follow him at @joshuasasse.

Galavant premieres this Fall on ABC.

10. Robin Taylor

Gotham City has never been in need of baddies, and Robin Taylor will be the bad guy of your dreams as The Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot in Gotham.

He’ll be sharing the screen with everyone’s favorite leftover OC crush Ben McKenzie as the familiar Batman good guy, Detective James Gordon. Jada Pinkett Smith and Donal Logue help to round out this cast, but I have a feeling that Taylor’s very odd Cobblepot will be stealing the spotlight on this one.

Follow this NYC actor at @robinlordtaylor or you’ll suffer the wrath of The Penguin.

Gotham premieres Monday, September 22 at 8:00 on FOX.

11. Alfie Enoch

Yes, that’s Dean Thomas of Harry Potter fame. Welcome to a Shonda Rhimes drama, Alfie Enoch. Your world is about to be rocked by a whole different kind of magic.

After HP, Enoch could be seen in an episode of Broadchurch with David Tennant (another HP alum) and Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch. This is Enoch’s first foray into American television, and between grown-up Harry Potter fans and fans of really good television featuring the amazing Viola Davis, we might just have another Scandalworthy crush on our hands.

Alfie Enoch isn’t on Twitter, but the powerful witch Shonda Rhimes is now controlling his fate, so he might be popping up again soon.

How To Get Away With Murder premieres on Thursday, September 25 at 10:00 on ABC.

12. Rose McIver

If the undead tickle your weird fancy, I invite you to check out Rose McIver in iZombie. This zombie-with-a-conscious comedy, led by newcomer McIver, reinvents the zombie trope again with a performance that’s sure to send the nerds into a tizzy.

This Kiwi actress has been seen as Tinker Bell in Once Upon A Time and was most recently on Masters of Sex. In iZombie, which has been compared to Buffy the Vampire Slayer (high praise), McIver must reluctantly eat brains to stay alive but also solves crimes, like the good zombie she is. She has the potential to be the zombie of our hearts, so pay attention to this one come 2015.

McIver can be seen next in a short with another OUAT cast member Jennifer Morrison in Mattresside.

Catch up on the walking dead chronicles of our new favorite zombie at @imrosemciver.

iZombie premieres in 2015 on CW.

13.  Analeigh Tipton

Boy meets girl, girl meets boy. Boy and girl have inner monologues that tell you everything that’s annoying with twenty-something dating in Manhattan. It could be cliché, but my bet is that Analeigh Tipton might be cute enough to pull this off.

After finishing in 3rd place on cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model, Tipton gave the whole acting thing a try in Crazy, Stupid, Love and Warm Bodies. In both movies she was charming and witty, with big pretty doe eyes that made you think she had the makings of a young starlet.

You can check her out in her latest movie with up-and-comer Miles Teller in Two Night Stand and in Mississippi Grind with Ryan Reynolds coming out in 2015.

Manhattan Love Story premieres Tuesday, September 30 at 8:30 on ABC.

14. Hayley Atwell

You just can’t keep Marvel down. Fans have proved that they’re willing to follow their favorite Marvel stars from movies to television, as we’ve seen with Agents of SHIELD and now are ready to experience again with Haley Atwell’s Agent Carter.

Admit it, you fell in love with Agent Carter the moment she spied tiny Steve Rogers in Captain America and knew he was the good natured superhero of our dreams. Our love for her blossomed even more after that Chris Evans’ post-transformation pec grab.

All hail Marvel for bringing back a fan favorite and giving her a lot more to do in her own series on ABC. If you get antsy waiting for Agent Carter to premiere, check Atwell out in Testament of Youth with Game of ThronesKit Harrington and in Cinderella with Helena Bonham Carter and Richard Madden.

You can also follow this badass SHIELD Agent at @HayleyAtwell.

15. John Mulaney

Those familiar with the world of stand-up comedy are well aboard the John Mulaney train, and I have a feeling you will be running off to buy your tickets after Mulaney takes on his own TV Show.

John Mulaney has been writing for Saturday Night Live since 2008, so you’ve actually been laughing with him and at him long before you realized it was Mulaney behind the writing. And Nasim Pedrad, former cast member of SNL, believes in his comedy chops so much she even left the show in order to be in his debut comedy. That is a lot of pressure, but we’re pulling for Mulaney.

If you want to laugh non-stop for an hour, check out his comedy special John Mulaney: New In Town on Netflix and then just sit by your TV waiting for Mulaney to premiere while constantly checking @mulaney for updates.

Mulaney premieres Sunday, October 5 at 9:30 on FOX.

16. Elyes Gabel

Can we get a “Hell yes!” for Elyes Gabel?! I’m calling for super big things ahead for him. He’s already been in War World Z and Game of Thrones (as a bloodrider to our favorite Khaleesi, Emilia Clarke) and the British TV show Casualty and now he’s making it big as the star of this new CBS drama.

In Scorpion, Gabel is playing an eccentric genius that gathers a bunch of other super geniuses to do super genius things and save the world. Also, Katharine McPhee will be there too, doing whatever she does. And with a face like his, I’d be happy to trust the fate of the world in his hands.

You can catch Gabel in two anticipated movies coming out this fall, Interstellar and A Most Violent Year.

Follow him at @ElyesGabel and try to get a follow back before everyone else realizes how great this guy is.

Scorpion premieres on Monday, September 22 at 9:00 on CBS.

17. Karen Gillan

Karen Gillan is starring as Eliza Dooley in this millennial version of My Fair Lady. Sci-fi fans are well acquainted with this tall ginger beauty, from Doctor Who and her role as Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy. For Guardians she had to shave her head, so if she’s gutsy enough to do that, she might just be a network comedy leading lady.

Gillan is working with John Cho who plays a marketing expert who is helping her re-brand her image after an embarrassing video goes viral. His name should lend this show some credit and a starting fan base. Whovians will definitely be tuning in to see their beloved Amy Pond rise again, and I think they’ll pick up a few more fans along the way.

Gillan is soon starring in The List with Jennifer Morrison and In A Valley of Violence with Ethan Hawke and Taissa Farmiga.

If you’re a Whovian, you’re probably already following Gillan at @KarenGillan2. If you’re not, you should probably get on that right away.

Selfie premieres on Tuesday, September 30 at 8:00 on ABC.
