We are big fans of Mama June Shannon and the entire Here Comes Honey Boo Boo clan here at Crushable, and we don't care who knows it.  Heck, I've learned some of my most important life lessons while watching that show.  I even record each episode so that someday, when I have my own little Boo Boos and want to ring their little Boo Boo necks, I have solid parenting advice to refer to.  Because Mama June, Sugar Bear and their girls are far more normal and wise than critics will ever give them credit for.

Mama recently shared some of her thoughts when it comes to life, love and sex and I've got to be honest here–I think it's all I'll ever really need to know about life.

1.) “Saving money can sometimes be better than sex.”
You know what? It's not that much of a stretch.  Not all sex is good sex, but saving money is always good.  I totally get the underlying equation here.

2.) “We don't represent rednecks, Southerners, or the state of Georgia.  We represent our family.”
This makes me want to shake my fist in indignation and holler, “FUCK YEAH!” to the world.  Suck it, snobs.

3.) “I live by the phrase ‘It is what it is.' Shit happens. Sometimes you just have to accept it and move on with your life.”
Can you imagine how different Charlie Brown's life would have been if he just looked at that bitch Lucy every once in awhile and said, “Shit happens. Fuck it.”

4.) “Don't care what anybody says about you and always be confident with who you are. Be happy with yourself and don’t try to please other people.”
As a mother of four girls, Mama June doesn't mess around when it comes to raising girls with confidence.  Confidence to burp, fart, be honest, and be happy with themselves just the way they are.  That's a fuckload more than most mothers  teach their daughters these days.  And everybody farts and eats cheese balls off of the floor more than once in their lives, so stop judging.

5.) “Always live life to the fullest and take one day at a time. You never know when something might end. If you are in a good place, always have fun and enjoy the ride while it lasts.”
Amen, Mama.  Amen.
