And Now The Moment We ve All Been Waiting For The Honest Trailer For Fifty Shades Of Grey Fifty Shades of Grey honest trailer jpg

Let’s face it, the first thing we all thought when we saw the trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey last year was that we couldn’t wait to see the Honest Trailer from ScreenJunkies. It’s exactly the kind of movie Honest Trailers exist for, which is why it’s so appropriate that they chose it for their 100th trailer. (Congrats on the milestone, guys!) The wait is over, and they did not disappoint. It’s fifty shades of funny. And I’m fifty shades of unoriginal for using the phrase “fifty shades of” in a post about Fifty Shades of Grey.

Since we’re all about honesty here, especially where Honest Trailers are involved, I’ll go ahead and admit that I still haven’t seen Fifty Shades of Grey. For most people that’s probably a point of pride, but considering I’m a pop culture blogger who makes fun of the series approximately ten times a day, it might seem a little hypocritical of me. But the thing is, I feel like I have seen the movie thanks to all the clips and reviews and summaries of how awful it was. And I’m here to tell you that don’t actually need to have seen this hot mess to enjoy the jokes about it in this video.

I personally liked the mini-montage of all the times Christian sneaks up on Anastasia like a creepy stalker, as well as all the digs at Twilight. But my favorite part of the video has to be when they feature all the horrible lines from the book that thankfully didn’t make it into the movie. (Seriously? You’re the color of the Communist Manifesto?) Oh, and I also really enjoyed the spoofy version of Beyonce’s slowed-down “Crazy in Love” at the end there. You know what, I enjoyed the whole thing, so go ahead and laugh until your butt plug falls out.
