Crushable’s Ultimate TV Schedule For Fall 2014

By  |

I just love television so much 30 Rock GIFWe're almost exactly halfway through October at this point, so I think it's time to finally trim down all the information about Fall TV that we've been throwing at you thus far.

There are still more pilots to premiere and shows for us to check out (and then rate and rank), but we feel pretty confident right now that we know what's going to be good and what isn't, so it's time to settle on a schedule.

Based on our knowledge of shows new and old up to this point, we put together a detailed plan for what you should watch, DVR, and skip every night of the week. (Because everyone is in front of their television set 24/7, right? Thought so.)

So without further ado, here it is, folks! Your plans for the next few months of TV-watching. You're welcome.

MONDAY

Watch Live: Gotham at 8:00pm on FOX, Jane the Virgin at 9:00pm on the CW, The Blacklist at 10:00pm on NBC
DVR: Sleepy Hollow at 9:00 on FOX
Skip: The Voice

We were completely shocked by the fact that Jane the Virgin turned out to be so good, so make sure you tune into that one live to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

TUESDAY

Watch LiveThe Mindy Project at 9:30 on FOX
DVR: Marry Me at 9:00pm on NBC
Skip: The Flash

Man, I guess I never realized what a desolate TV night Tuesdays were. Makes sense to keep watching Mindy because it's still pushing boundaries (I mean c'mon, that anal sex scene?), and to DVR Marry Me at least a couple more times in case the show is better than its crappy pilot (fingers crossed!), but we're pretty sure The Flash is a lost cause.

WEDNESDAY

Watch Live: Stalker at 10:00pm on CBS
DVR: Red Band Society at 9:00pm on FOX, Top Chef at 10:00pm on Bravo
Skip: Modern Family, Nashville

We have some conflicting emotions on Red Band Society here in the office (some of us like it, some of us don't), so I put it in the DVR category so you can decide for yourself. Also Top Chef is on there solely so I have someone to talk about it with, and be careful watching Stalker right before bed, because it's terrifying.

THURSDAY

Watch Live: Gracepoint on Thursdays at 9:00pm on FOX, How To Get Away With Murder at 10:00pm on NBC
DVR: Elementary at 10:00pm on CBS
Skip: Grey's Anatomy, Scandal

I AM OBSESSED WITH GRACEPOINT. Please watch it and love it as much as I do. And while it's in your best interest to watch HTGAWM as it happens, so you have plenty to talk to your coworkers about the next day, I'm putting my foot down about Grey's and Scandal. They've had their time in the sun, and now it's Viola Davis‘ turn.

FRIDAY

DVRThe Amazing Race at 8:00pm on CBS, The Knick at 10:00pm on Showtime

Sorry not sorry that I still watch Amazing Race, but y'know what? It's Friday night. Go out for once, ya lump.

SATURDAY

DVR: Saturday Night Live at 11:30pm on NBC

See  instructions for Friday, apply to Saturday. Or you can stay in and watch Transparent to your heart's content!!!! We recommend that as well.

SUNDAY

Watch Live: The Walking Dead at 9:00pm on AMC, The Good Wife at 10:00pm on CBS
DVR: Bob's Burgers 7:30 on FOX, Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 8:30pm on FOX
Skip: Mulaney, Madam Secretary, Homeland

The Good Wife is one of the best shows on television, so you gotta start watching that one before they take Kalinda Sharma away from us forever, but I've seriously walked back my previous stance on Madam Secretaryand Mulaney is so bad that we're worried about it ruining John Mulaney‘s career, so for his sake and yours, please don't watch it so it can get canceled as quickly as possible.
