Emmy Nominations

The Emmy Awards are set for September 18th, 2005

Although the Emmys, which are bestowed by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, are generally known for being a little stodgy, those who make it to the winners’ circle are sometimes on the surprising side. Backstage.com

Critics this time around are quite annoyed that Lauren Graham did not get nominated for her amazing acting in the previous season (ah, the depth!) – I am rather outraged too. Gilmore Girls really broke out of its shell last year and it’s not getting any notice for it. Nor, apparently, are many of the shows and networks that decided to go outside the boundaries of regular network programming.

We’ll all bemoan the lack of nominations. But, there is always next year.
