You've heard him on tons of hit singles over the past few years and now Timbaland is branching out from the music industry to the bright lights of Hollywood. He is teaming up with Effie T. Brown's Duly Noted Inc. to executive produce Vinyl, a film about five young women facing life-altering decisions about their relationships with members of a rock band. (Wonder what Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus have to say about that!) Effie has scored two Sundance awards for her work on Real Women Have Curves, starring America Ferrera, and another called Rocket Science. Vinyl is set to start filming this spring.

So many musicians have made the successful leap into film (Ludacris, Beyoncé, etc.), so we can't wait to see how it turns out for Timbaland!
