She's Damaged

By now, we're sure you heard about Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods getting booted from Danity Kane on the season finale of Making The Band this week. On the show, Diddy said it was Aubrey's 'tude that was the problem. "I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her," he said via satellite on Tuesday's show. Similarly, D. Woods got "caught up in the wrath" of Aubrey.

But now, remaining Danity Kane member Dawn Richard is coming clean about the real reason for Aubrey was kicked to the curb. "It wasn't a personal thing," she tells Us Weekly. "Puff did not like [Aubrey's] image...where her image was doing for the group." Namely, it's stuff like Aubrey's posing topless for Complex that pushed Diddy over the edge. "We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls. So we can't do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover... [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can't do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going."

But don't worry, the band will go on. "Puff told me specifically that Aubrey is no longer in Danity Kane and Danity Kane will move forward without her," Dawn says. "He has not said anything [about replacements]. But I think in my heart that he is gonna do another show." Duh! Was there ever a question?!

Do you think Aubrey should have been canned? Sound off now!
