Fall Back Boy

Looking forward to the new Fall Out Boy album? Us too. But unfortunately, we're gonna have to wait a little bit longer for Folie a Deux. Instead of being released on November 4, which is Election Day, the album will hit stores on December 16.

"Six months ago we thought it would be a fun idea to release our album on Election Day but this is not the election to be cute," the band writes on their website. "We felt as though rather than making a commentary we were only riding the wave of the election. This seemed less and less like what we intended to do and more of a gimmick." Because of the delay, FOB promises that there will be "a surprise or two" on the album, "an extensive preorder campaign that will take into account the current state of our economy," and "extremely small club shows" in the U.S. in November, with tickets only being available on the day of.

Does all that make up for the album delay? Sound off now!
