Out and About

Two celebrity outings in one week?! There must be some sort of truth serum in the water!

First, Lindsay Lohan confirmed her relationship with girlfriend Samantha Ronson for the first time. For months now, she's been inching toward admitting that they're together, and when asked on the radio by Loveline co-host Ted Stryker how long she and SamRo have been "going out," Lindsay laughed and said, "A very long time." That news seems to go very well with the story in today's Page Six where, upon hearing that her father, Michael Lohan, was bashing Sam in the press, Lindsay said, "Samantha is not evil, I care for her very much and she's a wonderful girl. She loves me, as I do her." Aw!

In another "Well, duh!" moment, Clay Aiken has publicly copped to the fact that he's gay in a cover story for People. Clay came out to his mother four years ago, he says, but becoming a father to son Parker (who was conceived via in vitro fertilization with his BFF Jaymes Foster) motivated him to finally share the news publicly. "It was the first decision I made as a father," the former American Idol star says. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that." Clay admits that the truth may overwhelm some of his more conservative fans ("Whether it be having a child out of wedlock, or whether it be simply being a homosexual, it's going to be a lot," he says), but he wants his fans to "know that I've never intended to lie to anybody at all. ... But if they leave, I don't want them to leave hating me."

Events always come in threes, so…who's next?!
