Punching photographers is the new black! First Kanye West did it, and now Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan are getting in on the fightin' action.

Nicole jumped on the trend first. While leaving a Fashion Week after party last week, Nic was in a less-than photo-friendly mood when "a young, Swedish tourist" tried to snag a shot, a spywitness tells Page Six. So Nicole allegedly yelled "I'm not an animal" and "jumped over the velvet rope, ripped the camera out of the girl's hand, and smashed it to the ground." Uh, we doubt that girl is a fan anymore! Then last night, Lindsay Lohan got POed when she thought a pap tripped her outside her New York hotel, TMZ reports. (She actually lost her footing on a metal barricade set up for Marc Anthony's birthday party.) While there was no camera breakage involved, LiLo smacked the suspected tripper and told whoever she was chatting with on her phone at the time, "Oh my God, I just hit a paparazzi." The police were called, but no charges were filed.

Is violence really the answer, kids? Can't we all just get along?!
