Hurricane Hanna must love Gym Class Heroes, 'cause the storm held off just long enough for Travis McCoy and the gang to rock out under the stars on Friday night in New York City. GCH was the main event at LG's Rally for Music concert, following four lucky (and talented!) new bands who won the chance to open for them. (Beginning September 23, you get to decide which of the four bands -- Mindefect, The Dig Angees, The Crash Engine or Ryan Henke -- will win the $15,000 prize. Go to Rally for Music to register! You can check out some hot undiscovered talent or sign up your own band.)
GCH played a smattering of old faves, like "Cupid's Chokehold," "The Queen and I," "Shoot Down The Stars," and "Clothes Off!" as well as "Peace Sign/Index Down" and "Cookie Jar" off The Quilt, in stores tomorrow.
