Who won in the ultimate superhero showdown between Batman and Spider-Man? The Dark Knight, of course! The new Batman flick scored the highest weekend opening ever, grossing an estimated $158.3 million -- and it wasn't even a holiday weekend! (Spider-Man 3 set the previous record last May at $151.1 million opening weekend.) What's more is that Warner Bros. estimates that the movie could make $220 million in its first week, which is more than Batman Begins made in the US in its entire run! No doubt Heath Ledger had a lot to do with it, but the rest of the movie is incredible anyway.
