Charlize (And Paris!) Go To Harvard

Charlize Theron didn't graduate from high school back home in South Africa, but she did go to Harvard -- to accept her Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award, that is. Yesterday, she joined Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, and many other top-notch actresses as a recipient of the award, which is given by Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the country's oldest collegiate theatre group. The presentation ceremony is a huge party where, most notably, men dress in drag.

When asked which was a bigger honor: winning an Oscar or the coveted Pudding Pot, Charlize said, "I know you want me to say that the Oscar sucks and this is better. There are no men in drag at the Oscars like there are here. I've never been surrounded by so many fake breasts… Actually, I think I was at the Oscars."

But Charlize wasn't the only unlikely A-lister at the prestigious university this past week: Paris Hilton was there to be "honored" with the Woman of the Year award given by the Harvard's humor magazine, Lampoon.

In true Paris fashion, she was an hour late to accept her prize, but she was quite gracious nonetheless. "Thank you all for coming. An international icon meets countless people every day." Paris joked in her acceptance speech. "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine standing here. It's really exciting and I've had such a great time…Harvard's hot."

You'd think she could've come up with a more intellectual word for "hot" though (thermogenic, perhaps?) -- she was at Harvard, after all!
