Even if you don’t ask for it, when it comes to what to name your baby everyone you’ve ever meet will have an opinion. Luckily for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, the people who are giving them advice on baby names are worth listening to. Like President Barack Obama, for example. As Chrissy revealed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, POTUS gave his approval to the name she had picked for her daughter due in April.

As Stephen and her make some summer rolls from her new cookbook Cravings, Chrissy casually drops that when she asked Barack (they’re on a first name basis) if he liked her name choice, he said he did. “Then I realized I should have come up with two so he could have picked one, because you gotta be nice about it if you give someone a name,” Chrissy says. Stephen then asks, “You let the President pick the name of your child?” Chrissy says yes because husband John isn’t “sold on the name” because it’s “too Hollywood” for him. Chrissy figured if Obama liked it then John would have to agree with it. That makes sense because who wants to explain to their kid how the President of the United States was all for their original name, but you decided to go another way.

Chrissy doesn’t say the name choice aloud, but does whisper it to Stephen after he exclaims, “You told Barack Obama, but you won’t tell me.” Stephen says he loves the name, so John, I think you’re outnumbered on this one.

Colbert and Obama seem like pretty sensible guys so I think we can assume that the name isn’t anything too outlandish. But we also have to remember Chrissy and John are pretty good pals with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who are not exactly known for going the traditional route when it comes to baby names.

So place your bets now on just how “Hollywood” the name will be knowing that even if you end up hating it, considering she has a President in her corner, I really doubt Chrissy will care.
