Chris Brown Says Justin Bieber’s Haters Are Racist, I Say They’re Just Douche-ist

Chris Brown and Justin Bieber at Haiti telethon February 2010 Can we all start a petition to get Chris Brown to stop talking? Some kind of Ursula the Sea Witch agreement? Because every time this guy opens his mouth I grit my teeth even harder than the last time. At this rate I'm going to need dentures by New Year's. His latest comments have to do with his half-pipe buddy Justin Bieber. In previously unreleased quotes from a September JET magazine interview, Chris blamed people's dislike of Bieber on racism.

“Justin’s not a bad kid, I’ve been around him. But if he hangs with too many Black people, ‘oh he’s hanging with the ni**as, so we’re going to let you go.' That’s strictly what it is. It’s unconscious racism. C’mon, y’all know this s**t is bulls**t. So like at the end of the day, people f**k with people and Justin does great music. He’s still pop, but he hangs with the Black people.”

No, Chris. That's not “strictly what it is.” Justin Bieber isn't disliked because he hangs out with black people. Part of Bieber's problem is certainly the people he hangs out with, but it doesn't have to do with their race. It has to do with the fact that they hold little baggies of suspicious powder and hot-box a car with him and encourage him to pee in a mop bucket. Oh, and it's also not so good that he hangs out with Chris himself, someone who beat up his girlfriend and continues to act like he was the victim of circumstances out of his control, as if a hurricane forced his fists into Rihanna's face.

This isn't the first time Chris has cited racism at an inappropriate time. He also accused the Los Angeles County DA of being racist when he was ordered to do more community service to make up for the community service he was found to have never completed. There is racism in this world, and it's possible that some racist people disapprove of Bieber's companions because of their skin color. But to blame anyone's dislike of Bieber's behavior on racism is absurd. To go even further and say that he's just a good kid shows how much Chris hates taking responsibility for things, even other people's actions. Apparently that's because Chris relates to Bieber.

“I can identify with what he’s going through. People don’t understand certain people, so if they don’t understand you, they automatically hate you. They cancel you out. I’m speaking out now because I really don’t care anymore.”

I don't think you ever cared, Chris. I really don't.
