8 Celebrities Most Likely To Be The Next George Clooney, AKA The Ultimate Bachelor
I don't know if you made it down to Hell over the weekend, but if you did I hope you bundled up, because I think the weather forecast was “frozen over.” And what a coincidence, because this was also the weekend George Clooney reportedly got engaged. After years of dating and breaking up with and dating and breaking up with hot lady after hot lady, George finally found a hot lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Sure, this won't be his first marriage, but if you'd asked me a few days ago if George would ever get hitched again, I'd laugh in your face.
So now that George is off the market and giving up his title of Ultimate Bachelor, which celebrity will take his place as the person least likely to settle down with a white picket fence and two and a half kids, and the most likely to date an endless string of hotties until the end of time? Here are eight likely candidates.
1. Leonardo DiCaprio
I think we can all agree this one's the most likely. Leo's pushing 40 and he's still hanging out with gorgeous models on yachts. Not only that, but the models he's hanging out with are getting younger and younger. Something tells me there will be many many more models in his future, and very very little settling down being done.
2. James Franco
I don't think James Franco has the time in his schedule to settle down with anyone, let alone the desire to do it right now. In addition to being one of the names on Lindsay Lohan's bang list (even though he says he shouldn't be on it), he's been romantically linked to plenty of ladies, including that 17-year-old he chatted with via Instagram. Plus, if he's gonna marry anyone it'll be Seth Rogen.
3. Wilmer Valderrama
Wilmer and Demi seem to be on again, and there have even been rumors that an engagement isn't far off (shudder), but he's got a reputation for being a player. He's dated everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Mandy Moore. I'm betting (okay mostly hoping) that he and Demi will call things off.
4. Bradley Cooper
This guy's had no shortage of hot ladies over the years. He's even already had a marriage (to Jennifer Esposito), just like Clooney. There was also Zoe Saldana for a while, and now he's moved into his model-dating stage with Suki Waterhouse. Whether the relationships are real or not doesn't really matter; he's still very Clooney-esque.
5. Harry Styles
Talk about a little Clooney-in-training! Harry's been known to like the older ladies, but something tells me as time goes on their ages will get lower. Just like with Bradley, even if they're not all real (cough December 7th cough), I can see him as a middle-aged bachelor. To be fair, it's still pretty early to tell.
6. Jared Leto
Not only has Jared had plenty of dating rumors surrounding him (especially recently since he's a fancy Oscar winner and all), but he's also said in the past that he's not interested in settling down. In fact, he goes so far as to say that he doesn't even believe in it. Can we start calling him Bachelor Jesus?
7. John Mayer
There was a while there where it looked like John and Katy Perry were gonna go the distance. Haha, just kidding, it never looked like that, but they wanted us to believe it would. Now that they're broken up I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to his old “sexual napalm” ways.
8. Cameron Diaz
Bet you weren't expecting to see a lady on here, were you? Well, just because George Clooney is a man and we tend to associate lack of commitment with the male gender doesn't mean there aren't some ladies who still apply. Arguably the one who fits most is Cameron, who's into her 40s, has dated some high profile guys like Justin Timberlake and A-Rod, and doesn't seem to place a lot of importance on marriage and kids.
