Glamour's 25th Anniversary Women of the Year Awards in New York

After giving viewers a look at her transition on I Am Cait, Caitlyn Jenner will soon be giving us even more insight into her new life. The former Olympian and reality star will be releasing a memoir next year, the New York Times reports. While we have seen many moments of Caitlyn's past and current journey on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and I Am Cait (which will return for a second season March 6th), the book will dive deeper into her life as an Olympian, marriage to Kris Jenner, relationships with her famous children, and transition journey.

Caitlyn will be writing the book with Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger, who also interviewed her for the Vanity Fair article where she announced her transition. Buzz told the Times the book won't gloss over any aspects of her life. “I made it clear to her before I agreed that everything has to be on the table, nothing can be left out, and I’m going to be interviewing dozens of other people. It’s her book, but it’s going to be reported out to keep her honest. She’s been incredibly open, and I think it has the potential to be a really important book,” he said.

Caitlyn said in a statement realeased by her publisher, Grand Central, “Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey.”

The memoir will be released in the spring of 2017. It will no doubt be a more entertaining and informative read than the other Kardashian/Jenner books that have written by the family.  Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia, anyone?
