Britney Spears Has The Most Depressing Reason Ever For Wanting A Baby Daughter Britney Spears and her son at the premiere of The Smurfs 2 July 2013 jpgI feel for Britney Spears, I really do. Having to still be in the spotlight after everything she’s gone through has to be really tough, but I need to know why she doesn’t have a better team around her at this point.

From everything she’s been saying lately, it sounds like she’s not getting much guidance, and she feels really alone. I know her dad still has a conservatorship over her, meaning he’s in charge of her finances and essentially her career as well, even though she’s thirty-two years old. She doesn’t seem to have much common sense about how to talk about her career — from insulting her gay fans by calling them ‘somewhat girls’ to revealing the name of her plastic surgeon and some of the ‘fun stuff’ he’s done to her — and she certainly doesn’t have much say-so about it, considering she thought the video for ‘Work Bitch’ was unnecessarily sexy and wishes it had been toned down.

She’s also been giving some questionable advice, like when she said that if you’re hurting after a break-up, all you have to do is get another guy really quick so you don’t have to feel sad. Which makes sense when you look at her dating record and her history of falling in love with guys after like thirty seconds; she’s using other people as validation because she doesn’t know how to get it from herself.

Bottom line, she’s lonely, and she thinks the solution to that problem is having another baby. A girl this time. Here’s what she told InStyle:

“I would like to be busy the first couple of years, but then I would really like to have another baby, a girl. I think she would be like a mini-me. I think it’s going to be crazy. I’m not going to feel as alone in the world anymore. I’m going to feel like I have a second person, like, that’s me.”

Agh. AGH. This makes me so nervous, you guys. This is why I was saying we shouldn’t pretend like Britney is ‘back’. I feel like everything she’s been saying and doing lately points to the fact that she has a big sadness-shaped hole inside her, and asking her to keep performing like she doesn’t is only making it worse.

The woman wants a baby girl so she can have another version of herself beside her and not feel as alone in the world anymore. Doesn’t that break your heart?
