This is a very bittersweet week for me. On a sad note, I'm ending my promo tour. Waaaaah! I can't believe I've been on the road going from state to state for 11 weeks -- it's flown by. I met a ton of awesome people who welcomed me with open arms and made my promo tour unforgettable. On a very happy exciting jumping out of my chair note, I'm getting ready for the Bamboozle Roadshow!! Weeeee! Just thinking about it gives me a total rush; hanging out with the musicians, traveling around the country, and most importantly, meeting thousands of fans. I'd definitely say that my favorite part of being a singer is meeting people who enjoy my music. My fans are what inspire me and keep a smile on my face. I love you all my little boomers!
This weekend, because of the holiday, I got to kick back with my friends and family. On Saturday I cruised around SoHo in NYC, checking in on my favorite stores; Opening Ceremony, Top Shop, Screaming Mimis, Flying A....the list goes on and on. Hit up those stores, they're fabulous. I picked up a ridiculous blue and white tie dye romper. Tie dye is on its way back in, people, but beware, sometimes it can be a bit corny (if you catch my drift). A perfect example of a fab tie dye piece is the Tie-Dye Dolman Tunic from alloy.com. My Easter was a fun filled day of Peeps and The Last Song. What a tear-jerker that movie is -- I was crying like a little baby the entire time! It's a good thing I had one too many Peeps in my lap to get me through it. Good movie, though, I suggest it to anyone who needs a good ol' cry.
I can't stop thinking about the incoming of spring and summer. Just walking down the New York City streets, you can see everyone bustin' out their straw fedora hats and jelly sandals (both upcoming trends) walking with a smile on their face and a bounce in their step. Just like these NYC pedestrians, I am continuing to smile with anticipation of what's to come in my career. My album will be dropping, I'll be making more music videos, I'll be recording more songs, and tons more to look out for.
Don't forget about me Alloy, I'[ll be popping up all over the place!
