Week 2: Weenie Roast and Remixes
Hey Alloy,

We are a week into the tour, and so far it's been a ton of fun! Before heading out to Virginia for two shows, we went back to the west coast for a couple of days to play the KROQ Weenie Roast. All of us are from the east coast, so visiting California is always a blast. How can anyone not love 70 degree weather, the beach and endless amounts of Mexican food!?!?

After the Weenie Roast, where we got to meet DEVO backstage and say hello to our label mates The Temper Trap, it was back to the east coast to play Norfolk and then Richmond. In Norfolk we had some downtime before the set, so Nate (drummer) spent most of it working on a remix for Katy Perry! For those of you that don't know, Nate is also a professional DJ. You'll come to find out that many of us have hobbies on the side that all involve music... but we'll get into that later.

The crowd in Norfolk was great and now we are in Richmond, where I took this photo of the beautiful venue and the band. Before every show, the whole band completes sound check which ensures smooth sailing come show time. Which reminds me, gotta run! We've got a show to play.

Talk next week,
