"Free Wired" Gets Released! Plus, FM Takes NYC!
This has been the most unforgettable week of our careers --the week our new album "Free Wired" was released. We've been working our whole lives for this. We set out to make a record inspired by how we live in downtown LA, a soundtrack to our free wired lives. Where genres don't define a person, but where your playlist does and we were hugely inspired by hip-hop, electro, alternative rock, pop and anything under the needle. We set out to fuse all those inspirations together to create a sound we call FREE WIRED.

To us, "Free Wired" is club hopping around Downtown LA searching for art and music inspiration, Korean BBQ with Snoop Dogg, taco trucks at 5am for breakfast burritos, new shades and a skinny tie. "Free Wired" is taking a spycam through artwalk in Downtown LA to shoot and meeting the girl of your dreams at an art gallery or just walking down the street while she's blogging on her iPhone or bumping "Like a G6". Free Wired is Far East Movement Downtown LA culture x lifestyle. Ok, now that you understand the album, let's get back to our unforgettable free wired day.

We started at 6am for Good Day New York where we were performing "Like A G6" live to all of NYC. Then we hit up all the major radio stations in the area for interviews promoting our album before going to The Hard Rock Cafe for soundcheck. Our label, Cherrytree Records, took over Hard Rock in Times Square to throw a Cherrytree Times Square Free Wired album release event with a free mini concert and album signing. The turnout was insane and the line was down the street. Before our Cherrytree labelmate Mohombi performed and right before we hit the stage, our management and the Cherrytree team played us a video reel of, Magic Johnson, Jermaine Dupri, Mike Shinoda, Natalia Kills, Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars, The Stereotypes, Red One, Keri Hilson, Lil' Jon and more giving us shouts and repping our album. Insane.

Then, we performed some tracks off our album: "Like A G6," "Fighting For Air" with Vincent Frank aka Frankmusik, "Girls On The Dance Floor," "2Gether," "Go Ape." Right after we finished our last song, the head of Cherrytree head on stage with our team and surprised us with our first ever platinum plaque for our single "Like A G6" selling over a million copies. It was an incredible way to spend our record release! Please hit up your local store or iTunes and pick up your own copy. Y'all are the reason we made the album.

Thanks for reading our blog and following us while we were on tour. Keep in touch by becoming our friend on Facebook and following us on Twitter. Can't wait to hear from all the fans.

Love n' respect,
