Far East Movement Does Live TV -- And Gets Some Amazing News!
This week has been surreal. So far we've been hearing our single "Like a G6" on the radio at almost every city we've toured at, and it's been #1 at a bunch of the stations. Thank ya'll so much!

After sold out shows at the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach and Orlando, we took a quick detour from the tour back to our hometown of LA for our first ever national TV performance on Lopez Tonight, where we performed "Like A G6". We had a 10am call time at Lopez Tonight, and the green room had putting green and a ping pong table in our trailer.

Then our label Cherrytree Interscope surprised us with the best gift we'd ever received -- hard copies of our brand new album "FREE WIRED" fresh in the wrapping, with stickers and all. You couldn't have ever told us in a trillion years as everyday LA kids interning at Interscope Records sending these very CDs out to industry lists in bubblewrap packs that we'd have our own CD with the same label in our hands while we're backstage before a national TV performance. It's surreal.

While rehearsing for some other shows in California, we got some tweets saying "Far East Movement has hit #1 on iTunes". We flipped on our computers and geeked out seeing that our song passed our good friend Bruno Mars on the top iTunes singles chart. It was crazy to hear that our song hit #1 on iTunes and Top 10 on the Billboard Charts.

But nothing that happened last week was quite as cool as meeting Magic Johnson, the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Check out the picture of us with Magic and our managers from stampede management.

Too bad we had to leave LA so quickly after the show. It would have been nice to get a good meal of 4 carne asada tacos with extra rojo sauce and an ice cold horchata at King Taco, the only place we eat when we get back from tour. We had to go straight to Indianapolis, Indiana where we re-joined our "Up In The Air Tour" family. But, after the show, we happened to have some people in town that had a taco truck called West Coast Tacos. This truck was like a beam of light in a sea of darkness, haha! We had been looking for some legit LA style tacos and these were 3 fingers up all day and night. Just look at them in this pic -- your mouth has got to be watering.

We can't believe the album is coming out officially in a week! On October 12th we'll be taking over Times Square in New York City at the Hard Rock Cafe where we'll be doing a free show from 5pm-8pm and we'll be signing copies of the album. If you're gonna be in the area, come check us out! The show will also be broadcasted on the jumbo screen in Times Square. Now that's FREE WIRED.

See y'all next week!
