Bill Hader Leaves SNL On Saturday, Starts Spilling Secrets On Wednesday

Stefon Saturday Night Live Bill Hader

Well luck be a lady tonight! Bill Hader's clearly not wasting any time since leaving Saturday Night Live this past Saturday by waxing poetic about all of his experiences on the show and pretending that everything backstage went swimmingly all the time. While talking with Howard Stern this week, he spoke about how great Justin Timberlake was as a host — and how not-so-great Justin Bieber was. Why did they both come up in an interview that wasn't explicitly about Justins that Bill Hader may know? Well Hader praised JT for showing up entourageless to the show, and then brought up Justin Bieber in contrast to that.

“Justin Bieber showed up with like 20 guys. And every time, backstage is a very small constructed place, he had a guy holding a slice of pizza, a guy holding a Diet Coke. You were trying to fight around all these people to get dressed. Timberlake, it was just him. He's a real class act, that guy.”

As someone who loves behind-the-scenes stories and secrets and subterfuge, this kind of gossiping gets me all kinds of giddy. Sure it's not super scandalous since we already know that Justin Bieber thinks of himself as Jesus' more musically-inclined twin brother, but it's still a start. Especially since he also brought up Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashton Kutcher.

After all, it's only Wednesday guys! If he's already playing loose lips this early on in the game, can you imagine his memoir?! Or at the very least, his next interview. Once you start talking trash on people you used to work with on a show, it's guaranteed to come up again and again. Even Katie Couric will be like, “so Bill, tell me more about the time Justin Bieber ate pizza.” I promise you all, this will be glorious. We're going to learn more backstage secrets that we ever dreamed possible. So while we may be sad over losing Stefon, we can at least sleep easy knowing that Bill Hader's still planning to say ridiculous things.
