14 Celebrities Who Are Better At Instagram Than Acting

I love celebrities who are really into social media more than most things that people generally love (like food, water, and vintage Spice Girls DVDs). It's because I'm a nosy troll with an insatiable need to know everything famous people are down to share. But there's a niche group of celebs who especially excel at social media sharing. So much so, that, at some point, their sharing skills surpassed their skills in their actual careers. Now there's no turning back!

And there's no better example of this than the group of celebrities who are just barely decent at acting, but are really good at Instagramming. Scientists are studying them as we speak to determine the correlation between good Instagram users and bad actors. Apparently, it's tough to get funding for that kind of research, though. Which is why I've taken matters into my own hands.

So, without further ado, here are the 14 celebrities who clearly spend more time looking through filters than they do looking for acting coaches.

1. Jessica Alba

Ahh, the reigning queen of being so beautiful that no one tells her that her acting is sad.

2. Selena Gomez

Ain't no cryptic message like a Selena Instagram message 'cause a Selena Instagram message often goes unexplained. (You know the tune you're supposed to read that to. I don't care if it doesn't fit.)

3. Kaley Cuoco

Even Kaley knows that her acting career has a shelf life that's fast approaching. I do like her cute (if gratuitous) couple's photos, though.

4. Jessica Simpson

JSLNOE (Jessica Simpson's little nuggets over everything.)

5. Kim Kardashian

Kim did what no one even considered a possibility and made an actual in-real-life book of Instagram selfies that people will probably purchase with legal tender. I'm willing to turn a blind eye to her painful acting in that one Tyler Perry movie in light of that fact.

6. Justin Timberlake

Justin's life is too cool for Instagram. There, I said it. That is all.

7. Emma Roberts

There are two things that I'd like to applaud Emma for: 1) her constant sharing of her interesting-looking current reads with her followers, and 2) her damn foodie posts. Notice how neither of those were “her ability to emote” because NO.

8. Naya Rivera

Pretty sure Naya's life is one endless vacation, and you'll never want to be a tagalong as much as you will when you scroll through her feed.

9. Allison Williams

Don't talk to me about Allison's acting. As a matter of fact, if you need to talk to me at all about Allison, let's talk about who she had to murder in order to get that handle. It's TWO LETTERS LONG.

10. Dwayne Johnson

If you want to feel motivated to sign up for your local gym and get fit, this guy's Instagram is the place to be. Unfortch, that and a chilling message about the dangers of drunk driving are about all that he brings to the table.

11. Julianne Hough

Basically, Safe Haven should have never happened, so that we could enjoy associating Julianne only with positive things. Like loads of family photos and super awesome fun time racism.

12. Lea Michele

Lea's Instagram is the best account to follow if you want to feel like a gross, unhealthy lard who doesn't get enough ~natural sun rayz~ every time you pass her photos. But, like, in a good way.

13. Jessica Biel

Her acting skills are literally laughable, but her abundance of puppy photo posts make me melt so.

14. Taylor Swift

I want Taylor to give up on this whole acting thing and resign to a life of inserting sly digs in her catchy pop music and posting cat pictures to the internet.
