BBC Radio 1

It's a pretty big deal when your favorite artist takes a visit to Radio 1's Live Lounge. Not only can you look forward to stripped down versions of your favorite songs but it's always a treat to see who covers what. For instance, a wild and free Harry Styles covering Rihanna‘s “Wild Thoughts” (just when you thought it couldn't get any better). YES, that happened.

“Live Lounge Month,” basically a month full of huge names in music appearing on the radio show, just wrapped up in September — but we're still thinking about the all-time best of the best. We're talkin' One Direction, Miley Cyrus, and a big serving of Shawn Mendes. Here are 16 of the best covers from the Live Lounge.

BBC Radio 1

There's nothing better than your favorite artist covering their favorite artist. Especially when Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks have already proved their friendship extremely valuable at that secret LA concert we all wish we went to. For Harry's first solo session in the Live Lounge he took his own spin on a Fleetwood Mac hit we already know and love. Obviously, his outfit choice didn't disappoint either.
