The sound is doowop-synth-dance. Yes, you read that right. It's unique and catchy and fun. Here's how the band describes it:

In an alternate world somewhere, the Ronettes developed three crushes–one  for James Chance, one for David Byrne, and one for Aphex Twin–and they all decided to form a band. Yes, sometimes the electro noise-punk would drown out the gospel croons, and sometimes the soaring harmonies would make the post-dance beats sullen, but somehow they made it work.

To celebrate, the band will be playing an awesome and semi-secret show with none other than Marnie Stern and The Suckers. It tonight (Friday) at Under 100 (172 Duane St). RSVP is required: under100nyc@gmail.com
