Attend Live Concert Tapings for TV

By  |

There are two opportunities for you to attend a live concert taping for a TV show. One you have to pay for, and one is a casting call. Here are the details:

1) If you purchase the W Hotel's exclusive Rock Star Package, you will have access to the taping of the show Soundstage, which originally ran from 1974 to 1985. It was reintroduced last year, and is filming several performances at St. Ann's Warehouse. Scheduled performances are:

    • Cheap Trick – January 26, 2010
    • Norah Jones – January 27, 2010
    • Ben Harper and Relentless7 – February 3, 2010
    • Moby – February 5, 2010

The Rock Star Package includes two tickets to any one performance and a complimentary Spectacular Room upgrade, starting at $269. It must be booked with a MasterCard credit or debit card by January 15, 2010.  For more information or to book, click here.

    2) Dinner With the Band (airs on IFC) needs audience members and issued a casting call. The deadline to contact them is January 19 and there will be multiple days of filming on February 8 to 13. I assume that means you get to see multiple bands, but there are no details on who the bands actually are. For full information, click here.
